A Little This and That

Well here we are on the first regular workday of 2008, are you as glad as I am that all the holiday madness is over? Although I must say December was a good month around the blog as I set a new record for visits in a month with over 18,000 with average daily visits now hovering between 500-600. That should get me to 200,000 much quicker than I got to 100,000. I hope you guys enjoyed the mega men posts I did on on Sunday and Tuesday to close out the old year and bring in the new one. I really had fun picking out the photos for you. I don't always go the full monty in photos but I thought you all might enjoy seeing some of my archival photos of well hung men. Just a little something to get your blood rushing around again after the late night shenanigans of New Year's Eve partying that left more than few with a hangover. I did not get to party as I worked both New Year's Eve and New Years Day so there was no hangover here, just the need to catch some z's. I did get to watch a lot of football as the business was slow. I was really glad to see Missouri win over Arkansas and Miami lose to Michigan. Texas Tech pulled a last minute comeback also with 17 points in the last three minutes to beat Virginia. That made Str8Roomie happy in South Carolina because he is a big Tech fan.

Tonight's game is West Virginia vs Oklahoma on CBS at 7 Pm Central time and I have to watch to see if I can catch a glimpse of Ryan and Mike in a crowd shot as they are in AZ for the game. Ryan got Mike the tickets for a surprise Christmas gift so they are out there scorching the sheets in the desert while awaiting game time. They spent the weekend camping in the mountains of West Virginia, so I am surprised there is any snow left they did not melt! Needless to say I am rooting for West Virginia, not that I am a particular fan of the Mountaineers, although Mike is. It is just as a native Texan I am psychologically predisposed to root against Oklahoma whoever they play. So that gives me a couple of reasons to root on the Mountaineers and give raspberries (or worse) to the Sooners. It is almost game time so I will close out for now with some eye candy to feed your fantasies. Until next time as always, Enjoy!

Another fabulous collection of pictures!

I'm glad the capitalist merchandisingof "the holidays" is over, and all the frantic buy-buy-buy messages. But the real holidays are still with us, at least through January 7--Russian Christmas! So I'm still celebrating.

Happy New Year, Uncle Gerry!
