Random Thoughts For Thursday

I have to work next door tonight so I thought I would go ahead and get today's post done early as I have a lot of work to do before I can go to work! I was really happy with the Fiesta Bowl last night as West Virginia totally dominated Oklahoma 48-28. I never spotted Ryan and Mike in the crowd, but I know Mike was going wild like the rest of the West Virginia crowd. I bet Ryan got the reward too when they got back to the hotel. I loved the half time and post game shows where Barry Switzer and Jimmy Johnson had to eat all the praise they had heaped on Oklahoma in the pre-game show. Watching the game, you could feel how much more inspired and motivated the Mountaineers were as they really put it to the Sooners.

In my morning surf I saw the cutest video I have seen in a while that TWISI posted here, I just love it when young guys look as good as those two brothers do when they are having fun in front of the camera. I am always amazed at the talent level displayed in the amateur videos available on the Internet. Makes you wonder why there is so much schlock on regular TV done by "professionals".

The political season gets serious starting today with the Iowa caucuses followed shortly by more primaries in the next couple of months. Is anyone else out there as tired of the BS the candidates put out as I am with the election still 11 months down the road? Sometimes I think we really need to change the way we elect the President, although I do not know if any change would be an improvement if we did not get better candidates that were more public servants than self serving political hacks wanting to line their pockets with our money. Oops, my cynicism is showing again! Ah, only in America....

That about wraps it up for today as I have to get busy if I hope to get everything done . Of course I will close with some eye candy, I would not want to be remiss in my duties to my loyal readers. Until next time as always, Enjoy!
