Videos And More Videos

In reading my emails and the news blogs today there was a lot of video news. PBS has a new documentary first shown on San Diego's public TV in August of this year entitled "Anyone and Everyone". Anyone and Everyone is a documentary film about having a lesbian or gay child. Families from diverse backgrounds including Japanese, Bolivian, and Cherokee - and various religious denominations like Mormon, Jewish, and Southern Baptist - share their sensitive stories of children coming out. The parents also talk about being ostracized by relatives, friends, and religious congregations. You can watch the trailer and find out more about this documentary by clicking on the rainbow below.

James Roy has a new CD out with accompanying music video that he is partnering with Soulforce on with 10% of the proceeds going to Soulforce to support their work. James says"Rise Above is about opening your eyes and reaching out to those who oppose you. In working with Soulforce, I have found them to be a very knowledgeable, respectful, and compassionate group of people who are committed to their cause in ending religion-based discrimination. While some might see my video as anti-Christian or anti-religion, it is neither. It is meant to show the divisive effects of casting judgment on others, while creating the possibility of appreciation and understanding. Soulforce promotes this understanding through their non-violent tactics, and I'm proud to be supporting them in their efforts." You can see the video and learn more here.

Also in the news is Keith Olberman with a special comment once again on the Emperor about waterboarding and torture. You can see the video and read the transcript here. I just love how Keith takes no prisoners and does not mince any words when he is talking about the idiot in the White House, check it out!

Then on a more romantic note I have the latest Nuke update for you followed by some eye candy that I know you will enjoy. So until next time as always, Enjoy!
