It is the last day of the month and a very busy time inthe moving biz, so it will be short and sweet today. GLBT History month starts tomorrow, be sure to check out a new GLBT Pioneer or Hero in the video in the sidebar then pass it on to someone else. The only way we are going to educate the world is by knowing our history and passing it on. "Those who fail to remember their history are doomed to repeat it."
The middle east continues to make news, but did you ever wonder what the people over there really think? The blogosphere is alive and well even in repressed societies like Iran. Blogging Ahmadinejad in Tehran shows excerpts from many Iranian blogs and their opinion of their President's actions in America. Despite Denials, Gays Insist They Exist, If Quietly, In Iran gives a glimpse of life for gays in Iran. Meanwhile across the border the G I's in Iraq ready for a rest, but hardly at ease profiles the 2nd Brigade of the 10th Mountain Division, the unit with the most time served in the emperor's misbegotten quagmire. A moving tale of too much time served in an awful place with no respite and no support from an administration which is too full of itself to admit the truth (if they could recognize truth when it is biting them on the ass!).
Tomorrow it calms down a bit however I still have to cover the desk at the property next door on the midnight shift tonight and tomorrow so there will be no rest for the wicked for the next little while. So now back to work for me and great pics for you. Until next time as always, Enjoy!
