May days seem to be getting busier than ever before. My little side business is seeming to grow by leaps and bounds requiring a bit more of a time commitment. I really don't mind as I am making money, but it does cut into production time here on the blog. It has been a good couple of days, just busier than hell.
It is obvious I did not make a stop in these pages yesterday, and it is late today. But hey ,I thought about you guys before I abandoned all hope of getting something written. That has to count for something, right? At any rate, I am here today and we have some cause for celebration and remembrance. It was on this date 25 years ago that the world of Classical Music said goodbye to one of its Legendary Conductors, Leonard Bernstein. Bernstein was the first American born and educated Conductor to achieve worldwide acclaim. Previously it had been thought that only a European Classical education could produce Legendary caliber Conductors. For more than 50 years, he enthralled, entertained and educated the world with his encyclopedic knowledge of Classical Music, and his Balletic Podium Performances.
Bernstein was first known as a Pianist before achieving Conducting fame. He often conducted Piano Concerti from the keyboard with some of the world's finest orchestras. I have two perfect examples of the breadth of Bernstein' repertoire and his ability to incorporate multiple genres and influences in that repertoire. Posted down below, Bernstein gives a classic Classical Music performance Conducting the Vienna Philharmonic from the keyboard at the Musikverein in Vienna in their performance of Beethoven's Piano Concerto Number 1 in C Major from 1970.
Over on my tumblr, switching genres as he was often want to do, Leonard Bernstein conducts the New York Philharmonic and plays piano in a performance of George Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue at the Royal Albert Hall in London recorded in 1976.
For Art in the Male form, I have a solid lineup of sleek, sculpted sexiness frolicking freely about the pools, beaches and baths of the world in this week's edition of of Wet Wednesday posted down below. Over on my tumblr, the splashy skin fest continues with your Hottie of the Day! who is "Bronzed, Buffed and on the Beach". Thanks for the visit, see you again soon. Until next time as always, Enjoy!
