I had a late night and an early morning appointment at the VA which delayed my arrival in these pages somewhat. However, I am here now and want to share with you John Oliver's rant from Sunday's episode of Last Week Tonight. The blurb for the rant reads "This year’s gay marriage ruling was a milestone, but LGBT discrimination
is still surprisingly legal. John Oliver explains why we need a federal
anti-discrimination law.". Not only is John Oliver dead on and serious, he is seriously funny at the same time. What was it that Mary Poppins used to say? "...a spoonful of sugar helps the medicine go down!". Maybe that will work with the Republicans in Congress who have thus far to a person refused to cosponsor the Equality Act. Of course logic has never worked with those folks so maybe spooning a little humor in with the reality will bear some fruit somewhere along the line. I certainly hope so! Watch John Oliver's rant, laugh long and hard, then think about what he said:
Moving from Politics to Music, your Monday with Mozart features 5 of Wolfie's Trios for Piano, Violin and Cello. 3 down below and 2 on my tumblr, all wonderfully performed by the Wiener Schubert Trio from their 1990 recording. Finally for Monday, how could I not share a little indulgence in our mutual underwear fetish to highlight the day? Therefore I shall not fail in my honored duty to provide you a lascivious look at these fine photographic portraits in this week's edition of Monday's Undies posted down below. Let's not forget our fans on tumblr where you will find Igor Augusto, Your Hottie of the Day! scorching his seat in the locker room. Mi Gusto Mucho! Thanks for the visit, see you again tomorrow as we celebrate Leonard Bernstein's 97th Birthday. Until next time as always, Enjoy!
