Thursday was its usual busy self and by the time I finished mucking about with everything it was nearly midnight. I was pretty tuckered out so I decided to take some sleepy med and get in a good long nap. Long is fairly accurate as I did not successfully arise fully awake until after 11 AM. As a result I have not accomplished much at all today, but I feel well rested going into Friday's long truck night shift. I did notice a blurb for Rachel Maddow's segment on the new bill introduced in Congress yesterday to amend the 1964 Civil Rights Act to include sexual orientation and gender identity. The legislation was introduced by Civil Rights pioneer Rep John Lewis. Watch Rachel explain:
I have had some issues with the video playing on Blogger in FF. If you have any problems getting the video to play click here for the video on MSNBC. I don't know if it will pass, but it should. That does not mean it will, at least not without a fight and a grand educational campaign ala Marriage Equality. Let's all get behind this and finally win all of our Civil Rights once and for all.

The painting in the video is "The Cliff, Étretat, Sunset" by Claude Monet. Over on my tumblr I have Fauré's Quintet Number 2 for Piano, Two Violins, Viola, and Cello in C Minor, Opus 115 with a performance by Peter Orth on Piano along with the Auryn Quartett. The painting in the video is by Hans Gude.
Finally for Friday it is time for some Fantasy Fuel which you will find bountifully displayed down below.
