Welcome to Memorial Day Weekend and your Saturday Evening Concert. As you can tell I am running slightly later than usual, but it has been a weird day. And rainy as hell. However I do have some great concerts for you tonight featuring the compositions of French Composer Camille Saint-Saens. Down below you will find his Symphony Number 3 in C Minor, Opus 78. Paavo Järvi conducts the Orchestre de Paris recorded live at the 2013 BBC Proms. Over on my tumblr you may join Andris Nelsons and the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra for their performance of Saint-Saens: Piano Concerto Number 5 in F Major, Opus 103, 'The Egyption'.
Just because this post is short does not mean it can't also be sweet.
