Welcome to the Weekend and The Evening Concert. Before we get to the Fabulous Live Performance on tap for this evening, I have some rather Good News to impart. This regarding the recent Content Policy controversy embroiling Blogger at the moment. Apparently the powers that be at Blogger/Google encountered a shit storm of negative feedback to their proposed policy changes. The storm was of such magnitude that it moved Blogger/Google to rescind their plans to change the current policy, opting instead to stay the course without any policy changes. This is indeed Good News as it means life can continue as it has in the blogosphere for the foreseeable future.
I would also like to address my conspicuous absence from these pages the last few days. I have been in a bit of a funk with the whole content policy thing hanging over the blog. I asked for reader response as to what I should do when the policy changed. Of course now the policy is not changing, never the less... it does not negate the fact that to day I have received only one solitary response to my query. The reader was generous in his praise and suggested taking Nichevo private and not making any content changes. The reader felt that no one else publishes blog with my particular combination of Beautiful Music, Commentary, Witty Reparte'/Snarkiness and of course Stunning Photographic Portraits of Extraordinary Gentlemen. However, his was the only response which led me to think that maybe no one other than this kind gentleman was paying any attention to what goes on here at all. I know, depressing thought, which of course caused the aforementioned funky mood. Be that as it may, I had just about decided to either privatize Nichevo of offer it a merciful euthanasia. After all, if no one was listening, what was the point of speaking? At this point, I am still in a quandry but am resolved to continue as is for the time being and play the next few months by ear.

I do enjoy your posts. Unfortunately, I am not a blogger and have no clue how it all works. Therefore, I didn't comment earlier. I do want to thank you for brightening my days and giving me frequent food for thought. I hope you will continue your posts.
