Dallas Blows Opener to SF

To say the Dallas Cowboys opened the season at AT&T Stadium (the Taj MaJones) with a dismal performance would be akin to putting a gold lining on a dumpster.  It was not as close as the final score of 28-17 might suggesst.  By the time the hated SF 49ers were up 21-3 in the first quarter, their offense had only possessed the ball for 4 plays only two of which were in Cowboys territory.  Both of those were scoring plays.  Contributing to the score was a Culliver return of a DeMarco Murray fumble for a TD, a Tony Romo interception returned to the 2 yard line, a huge completion by Kaepernick deep in Cowboys territory and a Tony Romo interception in the SF End Zone. The rest of the game was spent trying to catch up and failing to do so.  The suspect Dallas defense was not the culprit as they held SF scoreless in the second half.  No, this loss can be laid at the feet of the offense who did more for SF than SF did for themselves.  It is going to be a long season.
