My Mother loved Hymns, Gospel and Country Music, therefore your Musical Moment for today features my Mother's favorite Hymn  "How Great Thou Art" with Carrie Underwood and Vince Gill captured in a live performance on CBS.  You may also hear another couple of her favorites we listened to as we were growing up sung by Tennessee Ernie Ford "Just a closer walk with Thee" and "Take My Hand, Precious Lord" over on my tumblr.  I was fortunate in that my friend and coworker found the contact information for the Music Director at the church we attended who was Mother's favorite of the several we had over the years.  When I contacted him he told me he would be honored to sing Mother's favorite Hymn at the Memorial Service on Monday.  There are a few details left to finish up, however all the expenses have been paid and much of my anxiety has been relieved.  Thank you all for your condolences, if you would like to sign the guest book click here. The photographic displays usually found after your Musical Moment will return tomorrow as we celebrate the life of my Mother for the beautiful woman she was today.  Your thoughts and prayers are greatly appreciated by my family and I.  Until next time as always, Enjoy!
