Late Night, Late Start

I got all the pay day chores and errands done between shifts yesterday, freeing this morning of "have to's" and "should do's".  Knowing I did not have to get up and get going this morning, I partied a little with my neighbor after I got off work until about 3 AM, then slept in until about 11 AM.  Needless to say, I have accomplished nothing, read nothing and am sleepwalking through my 'morning'.  In fact, once I get this up, I will probably lay down and take a nap before going in for my long night of 5 PM to 3 AM.   Ah well, it is not like I have anything else to do on a Friday night, lol.  However, I was not remiss in my duties to prepare some tidbits to entertain, entice and titillate you. Therefore, I have duly sought out some great Music and hankalicious Men with which to do said entertaining, enticing and titillating.

Your Friday Musical Moment features the Overture in the French Style for Piano by Johann Sebastian Bach.  Jean Louis Steuerman recorded this work in September 1985 at La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland.  The video was made from a cassette of that recording and the cassette is pictured in the video.  You may also hear Bach's Concerto for Oboe d'amore and String Orchestra over on my tumblr.
