My SSRB deposit came through on time, so this morning I ordered that new HDD for my computer I told you about last week when I was having malfunctions. It should arrive in a few days and that is when the fun begins. I will have to load Windows on the new drive, transfer all my data from the old drive, then I get to reconfigure everything once again. I have not turned my computer off since last Thursday for fear on it not starting up again. I just hope this does solve the problem I am having where the computer refuses to wake up from the sleep mode. Only time will tell I suppose.
I have several errands to run this morning and Will has a doctor's appointment this afternoon, so I shall not dally but rather move on to the Music and the Men. Your Musical Moment for today features 3 selections from the Reale Concerto (Royal Concert) CD of Violinist Luca Fanfoni. Included in the play list are Concerto I in F major, Concerto II in C Minor and Concerto III in F Major from l'Arte del Violino (the Art of the Violin), Opus 3 by Pietro Antonio Locatelli. All three Concerti were composed for Solo Violin, 2 Violins, Viola, Cello and Bass in 1733 by Locatelli during his time in Amsterdam. Locatelli was a child prodigy and Violin Virtuoso who studied under Arcangelo Corelli in Rome before his subsequent move to Amsterdam in 1729 where he remained until his death in 1764. Luca Fanfoni is an internationally celebrated Violinist and Professor of Violin at the Parma Conservatory Arrigo Boito.
Then last but certainly not least is today's collection of svelte studs in, on or around various baths, beaches or pools in this edition of Wet Wednesday. Thanks for sharing part of your day with me, see you tomorrow. Until next time as always, Enjoy!
