I have been rather lazy this morning. Generally, I have just been fiddling around and napping at the keyboard. I was supposed to have Jury Duty today but that has been postponed until 9 AM tomorrow. So I really have not been doing much at all. I would rather just let you have the Music and the Men than prattle on and on about nothing at all. So I guess I will do just that.
Today on Monday with Mozart, I have two
excellent renditions of the Sinfonia Concertante form by the master composer. Included are Sinfonia Concertante in E Flat Major for
Winds, KV 297b with a performance by Aurèle Nicolet, flute; Heinz
Holliger, oboe; Hermann Baumann, horn; Klaus Thumermann, bassoon and The
Academy of St. Martin-in-the-Fields conducted by Sir Neville Marriner
with Reconstruction and Cadenzas by Robert D. Levin. Followed by the
Sinfonia Concertante in E Flat Major for Violin and Viola, KV364 with a
performance by Arthur Grumiaux - Violin; Arrigo Pellicia - Viola and the
London Symphony Orchestra conducted by Sir Colin Davis.
Then. as is my usual want on Monday's, I have an assortment of muscular men adorned in their best Monday's Undies lounging about the page below the play list. Thanks for sharing part of your day with me, see you again soon. Have a Happy Monday. Until next time as always, Enjoy!
