They have completed all the repairs on my apartment. All of them except for the painting, which it seems is an almost impossible thing to accomplish. Yesterday was the third time the painters have been scheduled to come out to finish up. Predictably they did not show after I waited up all day for them. I even have it in writing that they were to show up and finish yesterday. So much for a written promise from the management. I suppose I will have to call Code Compliance again to get someone with a roller or paintbrush to show up and actually do their job. This really should not be a difficult thing, nor should it have taken over 3 months just to get to this point. How can any organization that purports to be a Professional Property Management company be so shoddy and incompetent when it comes to maintenance and resident concerns? I don't know the answer to that, but I sure as hell intend to find out why it is I can't seem to get this shit done in a timely manner. Maybe if I threaten a breach of contract suit that will wake the fuckers up! We shall see.
