I have been much more successful at selecting the Music and the Men for today's post than I have at divining a subject upon which to expound. Some days are like that, when the news brings nothing to light that sparks a deluge of verbiage, my feeds do not contain any miraculous enlightenment and my mind draws a blank. At any rate, it is my day off and I plan to be a slug today, lazing about and not doing much of anything. With only 8 short days left before I can initiate the first stages of The Plan, my anticipation continues to grow yet is tempered by last week's disappointment at the sale of my original vehicle of choice. The next best option available is the Pontiac G5 I told you about yesterday and its appeal is growing on me. I just don't want to get too excited only to be met with disappointment once again if someone gets there with the money before I can. I will try not to get too antsy about the whole new car thing, but it is still an exciting event for me after driving my much less than perfect current vehicle for so long. This surely must be a test of my ability to be patient while anticipating this new chapter in my life. I am sure I will not die of anticipatory overload, however much excited I get. But it sure seems to be taking a damn long time in getting here, lol. With all that being said, let's move on to the Music and the Men which will do us all a lot more good than my rambling verbiage.
Your Musical Moment for today features the Music of Ludwig von Beethoven with his Symphony Number 3 in E Flat Major, Opus 55, 'Eroica'. Today's performance was recorded circa 1936 at the Musikverein in Vienna and released on vinyl on the Columbia Masterworks label in 1951. It was then digitized from the vinyl for this video. The performance is by the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of Felix Weingartner.
Then to round out today's post is this sumptuous selection of sexy studs who are more than willing to serve as your Tuesday's Temptations as they lounge about the page for your perusal. Thanks for sharing part of your day with me, see you again tomorrow for Wet Wednesday. Until next time as always, Enjoy!
