MTV held their annual Video Music Awards last night in Brooklyn. Rappers and great Straight Allies, Macklemore and Lewis were tied with Justin Timberlake for the most nominations with 6. Macklemore and Lewis won big, garnering 3 of the 6 they were nominated for including the VMA for Video with the Best Social Message for their single "Same Love" which celebrates Marriage Equality. The duo was introduced by Out Gay Athlete Jason Collins and were joined on stage during the performance of "Same Love" by Jennifer Hudson.
