Circumnavigation

It is no secret by now that Uncle Gerry likes to read serialized erotic stories on the Internet.  The stories I like most are the ones with more story, romance and adventure than sex, fully developed characters and intricate plot lines.  One such story is Circumnavigation by author C James over at the Gay Authors story site.  I first discovered Circumnavigation nigh on two years ago when it had but 50 chapters to it.  Just this month the saga has been completed with the posting of the epilogue (Chapter 157).  You can now read the story in its entirety without breathlessly waiting an indeterminate amount of time for the next chapter to be posted.  Circumnavigation tells the story of young Trevor Carlson, who at the tender age of 17 is the Captain of the Atlantis, his pride and joy.  The synopsis gives the premise and reads as follows:  

"Trevor, through little fault of his own, finds himself with few choices. Desperate and hunted, he decides that his best chance is to head out to sea on his boat, for a circumnavigation of the Earth. His boat, Atlantis, is a fifty-five foot cruising catamaran, bequeathed to him by his mother prior to her mysterious disappearance. Come along for the ride and explore with Trevor, as he discovers many things, not the least of which is himself."

This story has it all, action, adventure, drama, comedy, love, loss, mystery, mayhem, pirates, conspiracies and complications, tragedy, triumph and a little sex along the way.  Circumnavigation is more than a story, it is a full fledged novel, lacking only the hard covers to make it worthy of any library you know.  Like all pieces of great literature, Circumnavigation is like an old friend with whom you know you will visit time and again.  I have already put it back on my list to read again and I am sure that this will not be the last time I visit with Trevor and his adventures as he discovers not only the world, but himself and his soul mate.  You would not be amiss in starting this adventure with the prologue and traveling with Trevor unto the ultimate end of Chapter 157.  In fact I urge you to do so at your earliest convenience, you will be ever so glad you did.
