This week seems to be flying right on by, it is Thursday already! Where has my time gone? Time waits for no man as they say so I best get on with it as I have a lot to do today before heading to work at 2. I wanted to share 3 posts from 3 blogs that I found either interesting, beautiful and/or thought provoking while wandering about the Internet. I will list them by title and you will have to discover for yourselves what they are about and why I found them interesting, beautiful and/or thought provoking. First up is
Expecting by guest blogger Betsy Johnson over at Brown Eyed Amazon. Then comes
A Promise Kept by Barbara Weicksel over at Barb's Gift of Gab. Last but not least is
I've had just about enough of the term "elite gays" by John Arovosis over at Americablog. I think you will find all of them intriguing and worth the small time investment to read.
For your Thursday Musical Moment I
have 3 works by Luigi Boccherini. First up in his Sonata for Cello and
Basso Continuo in A Major (G4) with a performance by Anner Bylsma (solo
cello); Wieland Kuijken (continuo cello); and Hopkinson Smith (baroque
guitar). Then I have two performances by Le Concert de Nations / Jordi
Savall (conductor) featuring Manfred Kraemer (violin I); Pablo Valetti
(violin II); José de Udaeta (castanets); Bruno Cocset (cello); and Rolf
Lislevand (baroque guitar). Their first piece is the Fandango Quintet
in D Major (G448) followed by La Musica Notturna delle Strade di Madrid,
Opus 30, Number 6 (G 324). Finally for today there is a little collection of sultry studs dressed in denim in this week's editon of Men In Jeans to get you all hot and bothered on the way down the page. Thanks for sharing part of your day with me, see you again soon. Now I am off to do the pay day chores and errands thing. Until next time as always, Enjoy!
