As the LGBTQ Nation waits with baited breath across the country, the Supreme Court, having waited until the last possible minute in the current session, will finally announce their decisions on the DOMA and Prop 8 cases before it. It is somewhat fitting that today is also the 10th Anniversary of the historic decision in the Lawrence v Texas case that struck down Sodomy laws in every state that had one, of which there were many. Will the court boldly go where no court has gone before? Will they wuss out with a no decision? Or will they land somewhere in between? We will see what we will see at 10 AM Eastern time (9 AM in Texas). There are events and rallies scheduled in many parts of the country and you can find one near you by clicking here for a map of them all. I, along with a great many of you out there, are hoping for sweeping decisions that will forever and always establish our rights to equal treatment under the law as guaranteed by the Constitution of these United States. Even the National Cathedral in Washington is holding a service at 7 PM this evening to celebrate. anticipate or commiserate whatever happens this morning. By this evening there will also be any number of 'expert' analysis' in print, on the airwaves, in the blogosphere and everywhere on the Internet that has even a passing interest in the affairs of those of us in the LGBTQ community nationwide. I will digest as much as possible before tomorrow and let you know my considered opinion of the events as they will have transpired before my eyes. It should be a very interesting day all around.
To take some of the angst off the waiting, your Midweek Musical Moment features the music of Francesco Durante with his Concerti Numbers 1-8 performed by Concerto Koln. To accompany these concerti is a eclectic collection of hard bodied and handsome hunks that defy inclusion in any one category or another. I do not know what I was looking for in the photographs when I went looking in my collections, I just knew when I found them and placed them in this edition of Random Hotness. Thanks for sharing part of Decision Day 2013 with me here at Nichevo, see you again tomorrow. Until next time as always, Enjoy!

It is a fantastic day. The fight for equality isn't over, but headway is being made.
And Scalia is stomping his feet and throwing a fit over it. Heh.
