Best of the Web This Week

Welcome to this week's photo review of the Best of the Web This Week.  Before we get into the review, I would like to link you to a heart warming story that I ran across in my web wanderings.  'We Found Our Son In The Subway' is the story of how Danny and Peter were married last July in a Manhattan courtroom, with their son, Kevin, beside them, which began 12 years earlier, in a dark, damp subway station.  This true life story perfectly illustrates how this wonderful family of choice was formed.  It is well worth the few minutes it will take to read, you will be glad you did.

Now for the review.  It was another great week for photography of the fine art of the male form in which I gathered over 1100 photographs.  Out of all those photographs I chose 84 iconic examples of this art form for your examination and appreciation. To accompany your cruise and peruse I have a fabulous Saturday Soundtrack for your aural appreciation.  Your Saturday Soundtrack this week is a 10 hour celebration of the Best of Bach.  This celebration of the music of Johann Sebastian Bach features 224 cantatas, 10 Masses, 7 motets, 2 Passions complete (from BWV 247, San Marcos, there is only the libretto, and BWV 246, San Lucas, is apocryphal), 3 oratorios, 188 corals, 4 lieder, 1 quodlibet, 58 spiritual songs and 2 secret corals.  A compete description of the featured works and the musicians performing can be found in the video description.  Thanks for choosing to spend part of your weekend here at Nichevo.  We will meet once again on Monday when I will have more music, men and perhaps something else that I discover that may be of interest to you.  Until next time as always, Enjoy!
