There is not much going on today as everyone is pretty much settling back into the work a day routine. The one news item that stands out is the promise by leaders in both houses of the Illinois legislature to introduce new measures to legalize Marriage Equality as the measure failed to make the cut before the end of the last session. With the whole term before them, let's hope they get it done.
I have two videos for you today, the first of which I posted when it was first uploaded. However it is worth a second look at this performance on NPR's 'Snap Judgement" program. Especially since this performance by 15 year old Noah St John telling the story about him and his two moms was selected as "Performance of the Year" by the show. It is simply beautiful:
The second video is your play list for today which is comprised of six Cello Sonatas by Benedetto Marcello: Numbers 1 in F Major, 2 in E Minor, 3 in A Minor, 4 in G Minor, 5 in C Major and 6 in G Major with a performance by Claudio Cassadei.
Then to help us all over that first week day Hump of the year is a fetching collection of Hump Day Hunks to ease our way on towards the weekend. Thanks for stopping by, see you tomorrow. Until next time as always, Enjoy!
