Best of theWeb This Week

Welcome to the weekend and this week's photographic review of the Best of the Web This Week.  Before we get into the review, I would like to update you on my Mother's condition.  She is much improved, so much so that the powers that be moved her out of the CICU into a regular care room on the 3rd floor of the Heart Center.  The put her in a large corner room with a view to the north of downtown Fort Worth and east overlooking the uptown neighborhood and the high school I attended back in the 60's.  My high school is coincidentally next door to the Heart Center at the Hospital although the property where the Heart Center is still had older homes in it back then.  Also included in the room is a 32" large screen TV so she can entertain herself in between regular care and her visitors.  She looks so much more like herself than she did and is in much less pain than she was.  She should be able to return home some time next week.

For some time now I have been somewhat irked by the fact that I have to pass through a content warning from Blogger to read the words I have just written in a post.  Will found a solution which I will pass on to you here.  If you use my browser of choice, FireFox, you can add and extension called Grease Monkey which allows you to use user generated Java Script to modify the performance of the browser.  You may then install this Java Script which allows you to bypass the content warning and go directly to the blog post of any blog published on Blogger.

It was another good week for gathering photographs in my web wanderings in which I gathered over 1160 photographs to sift and sort through for this review.  In making my selections this week I sought to choose those photographs which made the most effective use of color, shadow and light to illustrate the intrinsic and implied evocative eroticism contained within the the photograph.  Once again I went for the implied rather than the implicit and I think you will be well pleased with selections on display after today's Saturday Soundtrak play list.

Your Saturday Soundtrack for this week has a Basketful of Beautiful Baroque compositions by Johann Sebastian Bach, all back to back. Included are French Suite No. 4 In E Flat Major, BWV 815; Chromatic Fantasy And Fugue, BWV 903; French Suite No. 3 In B Minor, BWV 814; Italian Concerto In F Major, BMV 971; French Suite No. 5 In G Major, BWV 816;The Two Part Invention, BWV 772;French Suite No. 6 In E Major, BWV 817 and Variations Goldberg BWV 988 - Aria, 30 Variations And Aria Di Capo all performed by Scottish-American pianist and composer, James Firskin. These pieces are followed in turn by the 4 Orchestral Suites, BWV 1066-1069 with a performance by Le Concerts des Nations conducted by Jordi Savall.  On display following the Soundtrack are the aforementioned objects d'arte in this week's review.  Thanks for spending part of your weekend here at Nichevo.  We will see you again right here come Monday.  Until next time as always, Enjoy!
