The rains started yesterday afternoon and have continued through the night and into today with some clearing expected tomorrow. It has been perfect sleeping weather of which I have taken full advantage. The rains have also managed to cool down the Texas heat which is a good thing in and of itself as, before the rains, the temps were edging towards 100 degrees already. One of the prices we pay for the mild winters we have here are the blazing hot summers with several weeks of constant 100 degree or more weather. Of course this means that there is a lot of eye candy around as the guys around here run around half naked to stay cool. They may be staying cool but they sure make me 'hot' XD! I have to watch myself when I am driving to make sure I don't drive off the road and into something when I am gawking at some half naked sweaty man laboring in the sun. Not much chance of that today with the rains and all. Which is probably a good thing seeing as I am driving over to Irving later this morning so Jennifer and I can hang out and belatedly celebrate my birthday. I will have to be careful to limit the number of Margaritas I have so I can safely drive home, it would do me no good to get a DUI at this point. DUI's cost way too much money and the possibilities of harming myself or someone else in the process surely tempers the desire to get overly blitzed on Tequila. Enough of this rambling about, let's get to the music and the men.
