Getting in the Weekend Mood

Well, we made it to the weekend once again, although the weekend means decidedly different things to you and I.  Your weekend  is full of fun and activities designed to please whereas mine is filled with lots of work.  Believe me, though, it usually has some moments of humor in it somewhere along the way.  Like the lady last weekend that asked me "Would you like to bless the President by donating money to me?"  She had to be bat shit crazy to think Barack Obama would be blessed if I gave here any money (which I did not).  What was really crazy was when she asked for a receipt for her Slurpee purchase so she could send it to Washington to get reimbursed for her purchase!  But it takes all kinds, I guess, to make up this world and I definitely get some of the stranger varieties coming in to the store at various times of the night.  I am sure tonight and tomorrow will be no exception as they are our two busiest nights and somehow that always brings with it an element of adventure when it comes to dealing with the public.  Drunk, high or crazy, we get 'em all.  Thankfully, there is also a good number of nominally normal people who pay us a visit too!

Anyway, to get you in the weekend mood, I have a funny video and a play list for your entertainment today.  The funny video is also a music video being a parody cover of One Direction's 'What makes you Beautiful'.  So here is One Orientation's 'That makes you Homosexual'.  Listen and laugh your ass off:

Then for the play list I have Two Concerti for Oboe and Orchestra, Number 1 in D Minor and Number 5 in C Major by German Oboist and Composer Ludwig August Lebrun. Both pieces are performed by the Estonian National Symphony Orchestra conducted by Toomas Vavilov and featuring Thomas Indermuhle on Solo Oboe.
