Here it is Hump Day with the week half over and it seems like it has just begun. Oh well, lets just go with the flow over the hump and race on to the weekend. To help us get there I have 3 Concertos for Oboe and Orchestra from the Bach family of composers. The first two, WQ165 and WQ164 are by Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach and the third, the Concerto in F, is by Johann Christian Bach. The orchestra, conductor and soloist(s) are not listed, however, the painting in the video is identified as 'Ladies Night at the Philharmonic Hall' by Francesco Guardi. The three concertos together make for a wonderful hour of listening pleasure. To add visual pleasure to the aural, I have on display a goodly number of lusty Lickable Lads who make my mouth water just to look at them.
