This, That and the Other Thing

This week sure seems to be moving quickly towards the weekend.  Here it is pay day and I had money left over before the deposit hit my bank.  There's gotta be something wrong with this picture, lol.  It is raining up a storm outside, so I think I will take my time making my lists.  I really do not like running errands in the rain, maybe after a while it will let up and I can get out and about my business.  I am off tonight so there is really no rush as I can stay up a little late to get things done.  That being said, I still have to rummage around the fridge and pantry to see what I do need although the cupboard is far from bare.  What with the extra hours I have been getting and the pay from a couple of special projects for the boss, I am actually staying ahead of the game for the first time in a long time.  Speaking of the boss, he took me out to breakfast on my birthday and we had a long talk about me, my future and his plans to improve my stance in the company and my finances.  In the next few months, there will be some changes that will definitely benefit me, which was really good to hear.  On top of the good news, he gave me a birthday bonus too!  As long as I have a little more patience, all my hard work and putting up with all the crazies at night will pay off in the near future.  I can't say it has all been fun and games, but he has promised to make it worth my while to stick around.  And so I shall.

Now for your entertainment today I have an excellent video performance of The Violin Concerto in D Major, Opus 35 by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky.  On stage today is the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of Myung-whun Chung and features Japanese Violinist Sayaka Shoji in  a virtuoso solo performance.   After the video, I have some sizzling studs mostly of the rugged western type with a few other genres mixed in strutting their stuff as you scroll down the page to peruse this week's edition of Men In Jeans.  That should keep you happy until you can get back here tomorrow to start your weekend off right with another edition of Naked or Nearly So.  Thanks for the visit, see you tomorrow.  Until next time as always, Enjoy!

A Sure Cure for the Midweek Doldrums

Here it is Hump Day with the week half over and it seems like it has just begun.  Oh well, lets just go with the flow over the hump and race on to the weekend.  To help us get there I have 3 Concertos for Oboe and Orchestra from the Bach family of composers.  The first two, WQ165 and WQ164 are by Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach and the third, the Concerto in F, is by Johann Christian Bach.  The orchestra, conductor and soloist(s) are not listed, however, the painting in the video is identified as 'Ladies Night at the Philharmonic Hall' by Francesco Guardi.  The three concertos together make for a wonderful hour of listening pleasure.  To add visual pleasure to the aural, I have on display a goodly  number of lusty Lickable Lads who make my mouth water just to look at them.  You can click on the pick for a full size view or if you use Firefox as a browser with the Cool Iris Preview add on, you can pop up a preview window in the same tab so you don't have to page back and forth.  The music and the men together make a sure cure for any midweek doldrums you may be experiencing in this abbreviated work week.  Thanks for stopping by, see you again tomorrow.  Until next time as always, Enjoy
