Not Your Usual Monday

Today I did something I don't ordinarily do after work, and that is stop off someplace to meet one of my favorite customers at her job.  She is the bar keep (one of them) at Sandies's Red Barn, a neighborhood beer bar about a block from the store.  She opened this morning at 7 AM and I didn't get off until 6:45, so I stuck around to pay her a visit when she got there.  This is the social corner for the old white guys in that still live or work in the neighborhood.   This is where you can get a shot or two in you coffee or a beer as soon as the law allows here in Texas and a very totally straight bar as you can only find in Texas.  I have been talking with this woman in my store for over 3 years now and I never knew her name until today.  My bad, but we have been very sociable for a long time now.   Every now and again in the past she has 'gifted' me some small amounts of good smoke.  Today was no different.  In fact she took me out on the back patio and pulled out this ceramic one hitter made in the shape of a short off a Camel Wide.  She said she had some 'one hit shit' and I would feel better in about 5 minutes.  She was right, of course, and she sent a bud home with me, which is being mightily appreciated right at the moment.   I sat there sitting out the densest of the fog out side and visited with a few of my customers who frequent the Red Barn.  It was not a question of identifying as Gay or not, this was definitely not the place  to 'express' yourself although the bar just across the parking lot or the one directly across the street were definitely of the Very Gay Bar variety.  But I had a pretty good time anyway because I had been social with most of her customers, as they were mine also.  I stayed for a bit, then came on home to sit down and put this post together.  On the way home I was thinking today would be a great day for something on the violin in the music department.

One of the first things I do after booting up my computer is check my email and today was no different.  I got a subscription update from You Tube which led me to today's performance of The Violin Concerto in D Minor by Jean Sibelius.  This marvelous piece of music has been a long time favorite of your Uncle Gerry. Today's performance by a remarkably gifted musician, who is only at the tender age of 15 by the name of Zeyu Victor Li, is a wonderful listening experience to be heard for yourselves.  Young Mr Li is a student at The Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania under the Mentoring of Aaron Rosand, one of the world's leading Conservatories.  So not only was I a bit high, but I dialed up some of my favorite music in Mr Li's excellent and expressive interpretation of this great work in his performance with Pianist Hugh Sung.   Naturally I then had to find some virile young men that would be as beautiful as the music. For this, I turned to my Eyecatcher collections to find the perfect fit.  I think you will be well pleased with my choices in that regard, as these guys really do fill that bill extremely well.  So kick back for a half an hour of truly beautiful music, in an outstanding performance, coupled with 30 hotties whose muscularly builds clad more or less in their best Monday's Undies, will be sure to please one and all.  Now, all that is left is for me to shut up and let you get on to the good stuff down below.  Thanks for waiting up for me to get here and say "good morning" to you all.  See you again tomorrow to see what happens next.  Until next time as always, Enjoy!
