Happy Monday everyone! Blogger came out with a new interface this month and this is the first post using the new post editor. So far it seems fairly easy to use, with a little bit of difference in the way one has to do things. I will reserve judgement on it until I have used it for a couple of weeks to see how different it really is on a daily use basis. I guess you would have to say that everything changes with the passage of time, we will see if this is a good change or not.
Nothing has officially been told to me, but I think I may end up with Tuesday and Wednesday off this week. It has been more than a month since I have had more than one day off in a week, so a two day break would indeed be welcome as I could really use the rest. I don't recover as well as I used to, so the long weeks have really eaten up my reserve energy. Not that I am complaining about the money, but my body keeps telling me I am really tired. I hope the rumor of two days off is indeed a reality for me, at least for this week.
I know the video I posted on Saturday was the concluding video of a week of symphonies, however when I heard today's selection while listening to Venice Classic Radio yesterday, I could not resist finding a video of the same piece to bring for your listening pleasure. The video is of Symphony Number 9 in E Minor, Opus 95, B 178 "From the New World" by Antonin Dvorak, most popularly know as the "New World Symphony". This is a magnificent peace and and excellent performance although unfortunately, the video description fails to mention either the orchestra or the conductor so I cannot identify them for you. Run time is just over 42 minutes which will give you plenty of time to leisurely scroll down the page and pick your favorite from among the marvelous men in their best Monday's Undies lounging about the page for your edification. Now I think I will get a nap in before I get too involved in anything else. Thanks for the visit, see you again tomorrow. Until next time as always, Enjoy!
