Back in March in this post I told you about the video short 'Wedding Dance' and the 'Friend' film project from Director Elliot London. I got an email from Elliot yesterday telling me about the next phase of the 'Friend' project which I have posted just below this paragraph:
Dear Gerry,
I hope that you are enjoying your Spring. Once again thank you for helping The Wedding Dance reach 90,000 views in under two months.
The next chapter is about to start in my (our ) filmmaking. The cross country grassroots fundraising campaign for FRIEND film. FRIEND a narrative film about coming out during a time of cyber bullying. This type of fundraising will be the first time this has been attempted by a gay producing team. I will be traveling with a camera to 26 cities across the country trying to set up fundraisers and film interviews of gay America.
FRIEND is so important because of the philanthropic meaning to the film. This film is going to be funded by the community and then profits given back at a local level. A gay film that is not about a get rich fast plan. Instead a film that can be remembered for helping support local GSA’s.
It is going to be an adventure and also a challenge going cross country. This is why it is so important for me to reach out to you all. I am looking for members of the LGBT community that are willing to house me for a night as well as help organize a fundraiser in their local communities. In exchange of helping us we would like to involve the individuals in our YouTube blogs as well as a film credit. This trip is about showcasing the communities and individuals that believe in the message of stopping bullying. We all have a common goal and that is to tell stories and educate our youth. I would be forever grateful for you to post about this journey and see if any of your readers would be interested in letting me into their lives. Here is the game plan below.
I have also attached an information sheet. I want to personally thank you for your time reading this and helping... Email: elliotlondonfilm@yahoo.com

I urge you to get involved with the 'Friend' project if there is any way possible for you to do so. Your contribution (monetary, organizing, housing) will not only help make this film, it will also help local GSA's and bring more awareness to the plight of so many of our young people today. I am looking forward to meeting Elliot and the team when they get into Dallas on May 27, which also happens to be my birthday. If you were thinking of doing something for me for my birthday, it would mean so much more if you did something for this film instead. Elliot sent me a .pdf information sheet also and if you would like to have that for promo purposes, email me at gerrym0527@gmail.com and I will forward it to you as I could not figure a way to attach it to this post.
Of course, no post here at Nichevo would be complete without some music and some men and I have plenty of both posted down below. For your musical interlude today we turn to The English Bach Festival Baroque Orchestra with their performance of George Friedrich Handel's "The Water Music". The video also includes some baroque ballroom dancing performed by The English Bach Festival Dancers. The orchestra and dancers are in period costumes and the orchestra is playing on period instruments. Then their are the a goodly number of nubile young Men In Jeans to inspire and admire immediately under the video. Once again, I hope you can find it in your heart to help with the 'Friend' project. Thanks for spending part of your Thursday with me. Until next time as always, Enjoy!
