We have had heavy rains in the area since yesterday afternoon and they are expected to continue into Wednesday. As a result, all the various creatures of the night crawled in their burrows and stayed there making a very quiet night at the store for a change. Sean and I finished everything early and had to find things to occupy our time rather than having to rush through things between customers. It was kind of nice for once, but I fear I would be rather bored if it happened too often. That is the way it is at our store though, either feast or famine and not much in between. That being said, it should be a wonderful day to laze about the house, read and sleep so that is what I think I will do. Before I run off to be lazy though, I have an excellent piece of music for you guys today. It is the Oboe Concerto in D Major by Richard Strauss performed by Elaine Douvas with the Pro Arte Symphony Orchestra conducted by James Arthur Gardner from a 2004 recording.
