Midnight Madness and Other Things

Welcome to November guys!  This month holds many reasons to celebrate in the coming days.  Thursday the Third marks the Fifth Anniversary of my First Blog Post here at Nichevo, the Eleventh is Veteran's Day and the Twenty-Fourth is of course Thanksgiving Day and the start of the official Christmas Holiday Season.  But before we start the celebrations, let's cover what happened on the last day of October.  At midnight and technically the First but as far as my paycheck is concerned it was still the Thirty-First, we had our monthly rendition of Midnight Madness when all the pretend rich people swarm the store to hit up the ATM so they can buy their cigarettes, soda and crack pipes then head out to buy their drugs.  Luckily beer sales close at midnight so I did not have the headache of watching them try to steal a beer as the beer doors were locked.  That lasted about two hours as usual with all the confusion, noise and stupidity present in abundance.  I never have figured out why it takes 4 or 5 people to use 1 ATM card to get money out.  Sean and I got through it with some patience and keen observation of the swarming masses.  It stayed fairly busy all night and then right as I was set to get off, one of my long time customers, a deaf mute man named Harold came in beaten up about the face.  He wrote down that he was attacked by 3 men who stole his ID and ATM card but failed to get his cash money.  He was bleeding pretty badly so I called 911 for the police and ambulance.  I stayed with him till they came and explained what happened.  Luckily one of the firefighters and one of the paramedics both knew ASL (American Sign Language) and could converse with him.  They took him into the ambulance and I then got to go on my merry way to the house so I could write these words to you guys.  So an very interesting morning all the way around.

Now let's get on with the entertainment portion of this post.  I have one of my favorite Violinists on tap for you in today's video of the Violin Concerto Number 1, Opus 19 by Sergei Prokofviev from a 2005 performance at Suntory Hall, Tokyo by the NHK Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Paavo Jarvi and featuring Hilary Hahn as the Violin soloist.  A perfect piece of music to accompany you as you scroll down the page to leer at all the Sexy Studs in Swimwear on display to tempt you on this Tuesday.  Let's have some fun this month and spend some time together celebrating the music, the men and the holidays as they come up.  Thanks for the visit, see you again tomorrow.  Until next time as always, Enjoy!

I guess you may want to get a facebook icon to your site. I just marked down this site, but I must do this manually. Simply my suggestion.
