The Charter tech came out yesterday and discovered what has been causing our problems with the Internet. We are experiencing signal drain caused by cable thieves who have broken into the ports to steal the signal. So Charter is going to replace the box outside and lock it down to prevent further theft. This should happen in the next 2-7 days and then we should not experience any further problems like we have been. This is a relief as inconsistent Internet access is a real pain in the ass to deal with when so much of your time is spent on the Internet. It makes posting to this blog a real adventure sometimes as the signal drain is mostly on the upload side. This probably explains the problems I have been having with Picasa3 uploading photos to Blogger. Hopefully all this will be a bad memory in just a few short days.
It seems I am on a Piano bent with a Russian flavor this week musically with either the performer, composer or both being Russian. Today is no different as both the composer and the soloist are Russian in today's play list. The composer is also one I have yet to feature here at Nichevo. The play list for today contains the Piano Concerto in F Minor, Opus 20 by Alexander Scriabin performed by Anatol Ugorski and the Chicago Symphony Orchestra conducted by Pierre Boulez.
