It is a quiet morning here in Fort Worth on the day before Thanksgiving. This is "Friday" for most Americans as they have the next four days off for the holiday. Black Friday is the official start of the Christmas Shopping Season and the day to avoid going anywhere near the mall madness that will be happening. A lot of the sales start at midnight tomorrow, so if you want to maintain your sanity, avoid the malls and big box stores on Friday as it will be a mad house. I will not be cooking the traditional Thanksgiving dinner of turkey and trimmings, although I love it, as Will does not eat turkey. I will be watching the football games and I am going to make some home made fettuccine Alfredo with chicken breasts cut up and sauteed in butter and garlic. I will be posting as usual as I have the day off, so I will try to come up with something appropriately festive.
