Anticipation, Delayed

The imminent arrival of my new friend Charles is greatly anticipated, however there has been a slight delay in his departure due to the original departure being sold out.  It is only a slight delay so instead of arriving at 7 PM tonight, he will arrive at 12:10 AM.  This presents no big problem for me as I will be up anyway and just gives me a little more time for anticipation.  Will is being a bit of a bitch about the whole visit as he feels it will inconvenience him and cause "unnecessary" expenses on my part.  I told him to quit acting like my Mother and under no circumstance was he to submit Charles to an inquisition of any sort.  I am fairly upset at his whole attitude and I am hoping he does not spoil Charles' visit. I would hate to have to go to the expense of renting a hotel room just to avoid having Will be a dick all week, but I will if he continues in this vein.  In any case, I am still greatly anticipating Charles' arrival and the opportunity to get to know him better and show off my part of the country to him.  I will probably introduce him to my best Gal Pal over dinner on Friday night before we hit the club circuit in the gayborhood in Dallas.  I look forward to the fun times as we explore the area and ourselves.  Again, I will keep you posted and will try to have some photos later in the week to share with you.

Moving on to the entertainment portion of this post, the music today is one I have posted before, but as it was the centerpiece of the final subscription concert of the 2010-2011 season for the Dallas Symphony Orchestra that I heard in the encore broadcast last night, I thought it would please you guys to hear it again.  It is the full recording of Ludwig von Beethoven's Symphony Number 9 in D Minor, Opus 125.  I still do not know which orchestra is performing for sure, however I believe it to be the NDR-Sinfonieorchester with the Chor der Hamburgischen Staatsoper,  but I do know the conductor is Gunter Wand.  While you are listening to this masterpiece of music you can stroll down the page for today's eye candy selections, whose only criteria for selection was that they were as scorching hot as this week's weather here in the Dallas/Fort Worth area (predicted high today of 111 Fahrenheit).  Thanks for your visit today, I hope you will return again and again.  I would also like to welcome those of you who have joined the ranks of my subscribers here recently and to thank all my long term subscribers for their loyalty and support.  Until next time as always, Enjoy!
