Well the weekend has rolled around again and if you are like me, number one you are ready for it and number two your thoughts turn to romantic encounters and passionate embraces. Or maybe just hot sex. In any case, I have some incendiary fuel for your Friday Night Fantasies full of passion, romance and hotness posted just after the videos. Speaking of which, I was listening to WRR on the way home from work this morning when they played something by a composer heretofore unknown to me. So, of course, I turned to You Tube when I got home to see if I could find something by Johannes Sperger, a contemporary and friend of Franz Joseph Haydn. I did not find the same piece but I did find an excellent Sonata for Double Bass and Piano in A Minor from a 2005 Philadelphia concert by Fora Baltacigil and Susanne Son which you should like a lot. Now I think I will make a call to Butler County to see what kind of mischief I can get up to with my new friend up there.
