I have been sleeping sporadically all week, just a couple-three hours at a time. That is until yesterday when it seems to have caught up with me. Except for a couple of short periods of wakefulness, I slept from 10:30 Am until 1:30 AM this morning. And then I wanted to take a nap again around 4. I am hoping I am just tired from the week and not coming down with something. I am awake now, but not refreshed. Maybe I should take another nap? At any rate, I still have managed to put together some Music and Men for your edification. For the music, I have chosen the Piano Quintet in F by Johannes Brahms in a 2006 performance at the Konzerthaus in Vienna. The performance was by a quartet called Sonoris consisting of Martin Mason and Monika Hager on Violin, Nora Romanoff Schwartzberg on Viola and Martin Henneken on Cello. Sonoris was joined in concert by Pianist Chika Murata, together putting on a quite lively performance which you should enjoy. Then in due course after the videos you will find the lithesome lads who comprise this week's edition of Best of the Web This Week.
