I had an interesting experience while preparing today's post. If you recall, some time ago I could not for some unknown reason get the Blog This feature in Picasaa3 to upload photos to Blogger. I then started uploading photos to a Picasa Web Album then in turn using the insert photo button in the post editor to place the photos in the post itself. Well today I could not get the insert photo button to work, so I thought I would try the Blog This button in Picasa3, and lo and behold it is now working. It is a mystery to me why one works and the other doesn't, especially as I have not changed any operating parameters in Blogger, Picasa3 or Windows 7. So I will just go with what works at the time that it works until such time as it doesn't and I will have to try something different. At least I got the photos in the post before I got frustrated and started throwing things, lol.
Moving on to the entertainment section, I have selected this "Very moving performance on 23 august 1991 of Handel's Music for the Royal Fireworks by a huge baroque band on period instruments, consisting of 24 oboes, 16 bassoons, 1 contra-bassoon, 9 trumpets, 9 horns, 3 pairs of timpani and 5 drums, conducted by Robert King.
The Overture is enlightened in this broadcast by the BBC by a dramatization in paper cut-outs of the events at the very first performance during which because of the improperly handled fireworks the concert pavilion was burned down."

The video is of course followed by a goodly selection of Hump Day Hunks to inspire some "fireworks" of your own. Thanks for visiting today, please come again tomorrow. Until next time as always, Enjoy!
