I am in the process of reading another story from the Gay Authors site, Beloved by Dan Hanratty. It, like Circumnavigation from the same site, is a continuing story that has yet to reach completion. This story is built around a Family of Choice, combining members from several different blood relative groups into one cohesive, loving family group. The story got me to thinking how often many of us as persons of the LGBT persuasion do the same thing. For many of us our original blood relative families are reserved or limited in their love and acceptance of us as we are and some are downright hostile. As a result we form friendships, partnerships and family groups of our own choosing, much like Will, Rachel and myself have done. Eventually these Families of Choice will have the legal rights the same as hetero blood relative families do. Until such time, we must continue to love and support each other in our Families of Choice and share that love with those around us to make this world a better place for all of us.
I was feeling rather creative this morning so I combined your musical entertainment and your eye candy in Eyecatcher, The Video. I gathered some of my favorite photographs taken from the Eyecatcher blog and set them to the Clarinet and String Trio by Beethoven performed by the Israeli Wind Virtuosi. I think you will like the resulting video posted just below this paragraph. Thanks for the visit, see you again soon. Until next time as always, Enjoy
