TGIF!

Well it is Friday once again and it comes none too soon for me.  Although it is a rainy day here in Fort Worth, so I doubt I will be traveling about much unless it stops. It seems people around here forget how to drive when it rains, so I will stay off the roads until saner weather prevails.  To pick up the pace a little I have a couple of pieces of music from a lesser known composer, Severio Mercandante, who composed these pieces in 1813 and 1819.  They are the second movement from his flute concerto in D Major and the third movement from his flute concerto in E minor.  Both pieces are played with great affection by Jean-Pierre Rampal.  To further brighten your day and mine, I gathered together quite a few photos from my collection taken from the pages of the Eyecatcher blog.  Together the music and the men should get your weekend started on a hot note.  Thanks for the visit, come again soon.  Until next time as always, Enjoy!
