Happy Memorial Day everyone. it was 40 years ago when I joined the Navy and I ended up in the most unpopular war in my lifetime, Viet Nam. It took many years for America to appreciate the service of us Viet Nam Veterans. Let's not make the same mistake with today's service members and veterans. Make a point to tell a service member or veteran that you know how much you appreciate their service to our great nation. They will certainly bask in your appreciation.
