From Around the World to You

Greetings and salutations all of you friends of Nichevo.  I have a special treat for you today!  Most of you are familiar with the You Tube Symphony Orchestra project where they gather extremely talented musicians from around the world for a collaborative effort to perform great classical music and original compositions under the direction of their Creative Director, Michael Tilson Thomas.  What I have for your listening pleasure today is the Grand Finale Concert of the You Tube Symphony Orchestra 2011 from the famed Opera House in Sydney, Australia.  Not only is this concert musically exciting but it is visually stimulating as well thanks to the visual projections of Obscura Digital both inside the Opera House and outside on the iconic sails everyone is so familiar with.  The video description best describes the concert:

"Join 101 musicians from over 30 countries who make up the YouTube Symphony Orchestra 2011 playing a spectacular Grand Finale concert at Sydney Opera House.The musicians met for a week long celebration of music in Sydney culminating in the Grand Finale featuring animated visuals on the interior and exterior projections by Obscura Digital on the iconic sails, all synchronised to the music of the YouTube Symphony Orchestra 2011's performance."

The concert runs two hours and forty-three minutes so you will want to set aside some time to fully appreciate the audio and visual sensations of the concert.  Immediately following the concert is the now traditional eye candy section with some hunk Men in Jeans that will be sure to put a rise in your Levi's.  Until next time as always, Enjoy!
