Monday Musicale

I could talk about a lot of things today, the Super Bowl, Egypt, Uganda, or any number of religious right foibles and fallacies.  However, when I was selecting the photography for today's post, I was in  a playful/romantic/horny mood.   Therefore I selected a group of photos containing two men each, some kissing and some in rather more compromising positions to illustrate my mood.  Then I thought, what could complement these photographs as far as other content was concerned.  I went through my feeds (news, sports, photos) and was still uninspired.  I then turned to You Tube whereupon I found  videos of some of my favorite pieces by one of my favorite composers, Antonio Lucio Vivaldi.  I selected three videos featuring three different instruments to set the mood for the eye candy photographs.  The first video is an oboe concerto followed by a bassoon concerto and concluding with a mandolin concerto.  I happen to very much enjoy music of the Baroque period to which I can listen at almost any time and these three pieces exhibit the range and versatility of Vivaldi as a composer.  What better way to complement the beauty and romanticism of the buff men in the photographs which follow the videos?  I think you will like both the musical selections and the photography it complements.  So set aside about a half an hour, cue up the videos and while you listen to Vivaldi caress your ears, let your eyes caress the collection of photos which I have selected.  Until next time as always, Enjoy!
