I have been trying to find something spiffy to write about this morning but I have drawn a blank, sorta like the page at which I am staring. There are times like that in a blogger's life, when nothing comes to mind on which to pontificate. I suppose I could celebrate with the Egyptian people now that President Mubarak has left their country. I could go gaga over the latest video from Lady Gaga which is making so much noise around the blogoshpere, but you can see that so many places it would be redundant to post it here. In short, it has been a quiet night and I haven't had anything strike me as something you would be interested in. So instead I have put together a series of music videos for your entertainment. I have posted a lot of videos featuring the cello here of late, so I thought I would switch sections of the orchestra and highlight another instrument. Today's videos are 4 oboe concertos by four different composers of the Baroque period. I have combined them in one player for ease of listening. The composers are Tomaso Albinoni, George Friedrich Handel, George Phillip Telemann and Antonio Lucio Vivaldi. The videos are followed by your daily dose of eye candy without which no post here at Nichevo would be complete. Until next time as always, Enjoy!
