In my daily cruise through the various parts of the Internet, one of the tools I use is my RSS reader which allows me to keep up with various news, blog and topical interest sites via subscription. Through my subscription to Outsports I came across their articles on three courageous young athletes in three different time zones who are collaborating on a new blog for young, gay athletes. The three young men, Brad, Robert and Ben are out and are sharing their stories and experiences with the world in an effort to make this world a better place for LGBT youths across the country and around the world. The young men are brash, witty and insightful with excellent writing skills of which you can avail yourselves on their blog: Three Kids. Three Time Zones. One Mission.... I applaud their courage and their willingness to share that courage with the world at large. I hope many young gay people find their way to Brad, Robert and Ben's blog where they too can be encouraged and entertained. If only I would have had such resources as I grew up here in Texas, maybe I could have come to terms with myself more easily and life may have taken perhaps different paths than I have. No matter, they are out there today and are reaching out to others to share their strength and courage so that all may someday live fuller lives without the BS that comes with living a lie. Take time to pay them a visit and give them a little love for being who they are. Until next time as always, Enjoy!
