"Papercraft Castle, Tokyo, Japan"
The Obama administration has thrown the GLBT community under the bus. In their new "talking points" our three legislative priorities should be safe schools, hate crimes and ENDA. DOMA and DADT are not even on the radar anymore and the Obama administration has no plans to push for movement on these issues. As noted here on Americablog, the burden for Gay Civil Rights has been shifted to Congress and they have no intention of pushing DOMA or DADT legistation. Our "Fierce Advocate" has turned into a quivering pussy, apparently in a deal brokered by some Gay Rights advocacy groups. It is not readily apparent which groups "gave permission" for this change in priorities, but the Democrats will not be the only focus of our anger once the culprits are identified. Any group supposedly advocating for Gay Civil rights does not have the right to "give permission" to this administration to throw us under the bus. Equality is Equality, and half steps and evasive manuevers are totally not acceptable to the GLBT community in general and this Gay man in particular. I am fucking tired of politicians taking our money and our time and then turning their backs on us once they get elected. If there is no action on our priorities in this Mr Obama's first term, I will actively work to ensure there is not another. I am mad as hell and will not take it anymore. Mr Obama, you have destroyed my faith in you and yes I called you a quivering pussy because you do not have the balls to stand up for an opressed minority. For a minority office holder to have such disdain for another minority is shameful and incredibly unworthy of your office. I thought you were different than the fuckwad we just got rid of, but apparently not. Please prove me wrong, or you will never be elected again.
Moving on to more pleasant topics I have some videos for you today and a nice collection of current web finds for the eye candy section. Until next time as always, Enjoy!
