A Stumbling We Will Go

"Bright Mist"

When Fraturday finally ended, I was bushed beyond belief so I napped for a long while before getting on line to reconnect with the world. AS I StumbleUpon'd the web and worked my way through my G-reader. I came across several interesting things to share with you today. From Americablog comes this article which is a beautifully written treatise on why Gay Marriage is important. If you know someone on the fence about Gay Marriage, forward that article to them. When I went a Stumbling I ran across something from the LCR site that s a reprint of a Boston Globe article from August 2005 "What makes people Gay?". The article is rather lengthy but very well written and interesting to the end. Then I ran across this from World Science "A function for 'gay genes' after all" which elaborates on the study examining the fa'afines of Samoa in a fascinating article.

My next Stumble kept me occupied for quite some time as I delved into the Camp Records discography from the Queer Music Heritage website. Camp Records was an OUTrageous and very Queer label that put out two albums and about 20 45's (for the uninitiated a '45' is a small single play record with one song on the A side and one on the B side). All selections are available for replay or for mp3 download. My favorite of the singles was "Homer the Happy Little Homo" and "A naughty-cal Tale". I downloaded he whole collection (it's free) which comprises about 90 minutes worth of Camp Classics to give you a window on gay humor in the 1960's. You will laugh your ass off as you listen.

Then of course I went Stumbling for images which also provided many interesting sights for my sore eyes. What you see below is the cream of the crop of photos I gathered over the weekend, many of which have the resolution necessary for a good desktop wallpaper. Until next time as always, Enjoy!
