Rainy Days and Mondays

"Dark Dreams"

The rains moved in overnight and are here to stay for a few days. It is not so bad though for February with daytime temps in the 70's and 50's at night. (I hear Will saying "Fuck You" right about now!) This is one reason we live in the south, warm winters. Oh we have our cold patches but for the most part our winters here are pretty nice. Of course warmer temps means more people out overnight, even with the rain so business was steady all night. I am a little tired this morning and really glad it is my day off today. I am expecting visits this afternoon from several people who have various IT needs (iPod synchs, Internet access and such) and some of them are even coming just to visit old Uncle Gerry. You see, even on my day off I have so many people who wish to have a piece of my time. I do believe it is better to be wanted, if only for your mind, than not. My "nephew", Str8Roomie, with whom long time readers are familiar, yesterday called me the "eternal orb of knowledge". I told him it has been too long since my "orb" was polished. He told me to "polish your own orb". It has been too long a time since I have been remotely close to that flexible and even then I do not think I could have accomplished that act. At any rate, let's move on, shall we? There has been no earth shattering news over the weekend but I did have an interesting thing happen to me. You all may have noticed the addition of the twitter feed in the sidebar. Ryan sent me an invite to "tweet" with the world, so I signed up. I have a few followers and I am following a few more. One of the ones I am following is the President himself who has a Twitter account. The surprising thing that happened is after I started following him, a short time later I got a notification that Mr President was following me. Now I know that this is probably managed by staffers and Mr Obama really does not know who Uncle Gerry is but still, I am honored to be followed by such a distinguished person as the President of the United States. I would definitely like to meet him and shake his hand. Who knows, maybe I will be able to fulfill that desire during his administration. I am having fun with Twitter and I would recommend you give it a shot, you never know who you might meet.

Now for sure I know you will want to meet up with the men I have selected to display today, if only for a little while. Therefore, I went searching in the archives to see if a theme would present itself and sure enough it did. When I was a child, I learned the days of the week by reading an illustrated book with the traditional "duties" of each day. Monday's were wash days and that got me to thinking of hot guys taking their clothes off to get them in the laundry. This resulted in an archive search for men cavorting about in (and sometimes out of) their Monday's Undies. That about wraps it for the day, thanks for stopping by to say hey! Until next time as always, Enjoy!
