Musical Monday Adventure + Men In Jeans

"Buttermere"

My weekend was fabulous although my body clock is totally screwed up right about now. The first night, Friday, was hardest as my body kept saying "WTF are you doing up at this hour?" for the first half of the evening. The rest of the weekend smoothed out somewhat but my sleep pattern is still pretty whacked. Before I get into the rest of the stuff I have for you today, I want to mention Ryan, who is familiar to you guys from his contributions here, from his blog, Boys Are Ugly, and from the many times I have written about him. Late last week Ryan's Grandmother in England took sick suddenly and Ryan was rushing over to see her. Unfortunately she passed away before he got there. He is there now and Mike is posting updates as he get them. You guys might want to stop by and offer your condolences at Boys Are Ugly. Please keep Ryan and his family in your thoughts and prayers during this time of grief.

I did get some phone time in with Will over the weekend and he sent me some really cool links as he usually does. He finds some of the darnedest stuff as he Stumbles the 'net. I keep such things he sends me in a file I call Will's Wonders. Sometimes the stuff is funny, sometimes it is just a little offbeat, and then there are the more serious reading material he sends my way. Today we have a little of all three in the link list of Will's Wonders to amuse and inform you, check these out!

The Battle for Your Mind: Persuasion and Brainwashing

As you can tell from the various links, Will and I have some far ranging topics of conversation that leads to many an enjoyable hour spent in each others cybercompany. Will is one of the few people I have met in person first when we were both in Arkansas before developing an online camaraderie. Expect to see and hear more from him in the future. I am trying to talk him into contributing a post now and then, however he has resisted so far. Instead you get the best of what he sends to me as I pass it along to you in these pages. Thanks, Buddy for all you do.

Also over the weekend I got to digging around you tube and came up with a great video line up for a Musical Monday Adventure that has a little something for every one. The first video was posted over at AmericaBlog as representative of their feelings at the end of the inaugural week's activities features Jesus Jones. The second video is the second song from the CD being released in April by the folks at Playing for Change, Don't Worry followed by a musical romance, Gay Romance Montage #7. Then we revisit the boys from Syncsta with two videos, Numa Numa Then and Now, and their cover of the Wham staple Wake Me Up!. Next up is Jay Brannon with his cover of The Freshman originally done by The Verve Pipe. We visit next with our old friend Kai Miano in his new video with Ilyas Chulakov in an excellent rendition of Bach's Ave Maria. To round out our little musical adventure we have a fabulous outdoor performance in two parts by the Berliner Philharmoniker conducted by Seiji Ozawa of Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overture. All of this music is followed by a new theme for the marvelous men featured in the eye candy section. This week we have Monday's Men In Jeans. After all, who doesn't like looking at hot guys in and sometimes out of their cool jeans? Come back tomorrow for more adventures. Until next next time as always, Enjoy!
