Under The Tuscan Sun
Early voting began in many states this week including Arkansas. Luckily for me the Laman Library next door is the early polling location in my area. I was going to go ahead and vote today but the wait was 1 1/2 hours so I am planning on camping on the steps after I get off work in the morning to be there when the polls open at 10 AM. There is an important anti-gay adoption prop on the ballot as well as some of the same old shit GOP but lots of Democratic challengers to the status quo. I of course will vote progressive candidates in and repressive measures down and be done with it so the next couple of weeks will just be observation of the landslide that is coming to bury McPain and the Bimbette along with the Republican party. The American people have awoken to the facts of failure and are yearning for the fresh air of change that will come as we all do our part to sweep the theocrats from office and into the ash heap of history where they belong. If you can vote early, do so. If you can't vote early, be sure to vote Nov 4 for Barack Obama/Joe Biden, against prop 8 in Cali, against the gay adoption ban in AR, and for every progressive or liberal candidate that you feel qualified to serve the needs in your community, state and nation.
